How to find a good quality hybrid bike

Like every other bike type on the market, also the hybrid bikes have a huge price range. And there is a lot of bikes. Often if you don’t know what you are buying, urge to buy the cheapest is high. Most of the times cheap bikes have the worst parts and even the more expensive bikes might have bad quality parts. If you put a lot of gears, front suspension, hydraulic front and back brakes, mud guards, lights, bells and other useless stuff on a bike with a heavy frame, you can build up a price. AND often if you have a lot of bad quality parts, you need a lot of maintenance.

If there is not that much parts (just the basics like 7 gears and breaks) and the original price is that 300 euros, it might be a good deal. Other good advice is to count on a well known brands that can’t afford to put second grade products on the market.
